Magnum Auto Gen Start Question

Hello Everyone,
I had a customer ask whether it was possible to base your auto gen start off of the battery bank amp hour level as opposed to voltage readings.  He felt this would be a more accurate way of measuring battery life to maintain your proper depth of discharge.  Do the new AGS’s coupled with a battery monitoring kit have the ability to be based off an amp hour reading?

Thanks,

Brian Douglas

  1. Please see my reply/answer to Brian Douglas’ question below:

Yes, the ME-AGS-N revision 5.0 or greater coupled with the ME-ARC50 and a MS-series PAE inverter will start and stop the generator based on the AC Amp load on the inverter while invert mode. The ME-AGS-N is the Network version of our automatic generator start module and works exclusively with Magnum inverter/chargers and Magnum Remotes.
